- Club YEO
- Club Counselors
- CLUB YEO Committee Members
- District Committee Members
- Any Rotarians who interact with youth on a regular basis
- ROTEX
Volunteer Application
In accordance with regulations of the US Department of State, all Rotary Youth Exchange volunteers are required to complete an application and submit it before serving as a Youth Exchange Officer, counselor, or other role at the club or district level.
The form will require that you:
- Provide contact information for three personal references; please note that these references may not be relatives or volunteers with RYE-District 5100.
- If you begin the form but do not have all of the necessary information, or for some other reason need to finish at a later time, there is an option on each page to save your data and continue later.
- Volunteers are required to submit information for a background check
- Complete training and testing programs from the US Department of State’s TrainCaster system
- Complete training from NAYEN (North American Youth Exchange Network). Details will be provided after the application is received.

- Volunteer Application – Every Three Years
- References – Every Three Years
- IntelliCorp Background Check – EVERY YEAR
- Volunteer Interview – Every Three Years
- Department of State Local Coordinator Training – EVERY YEAR
- NAYEN – Youth Protection Awareness Training – EVERY YEAR
- District 5100 Annual Volunteer Training – EVERY YEAR
